6th Great Smokies Brewgrass Festival
Asheville, North Carolina
Saturday, September 14, 2002   3 - 9 p.m.

The music & brewer roster got even better, but the festival was wetter.
This was the first rain in the event's history. Tropical storm Hanna ushered in a front
that delivered intermittent sprinkles, sunshine & driving rain.
Note that some photos reflect wet camera lenses.

Despite an ominous forecast, the line to enter
the festival was a long one most of the day.
A conflict with booking the normal site forced the
fest to move Pack Square, crossroads of the city.
